Results Of My Science Project

The results of my experiments were: first I put the box, and then I put the ants because I forgot that I had to put the food first because the ants were going to desperate if they didn’t see anything. Then I did it again and that time I did it correct, and when I put the ants they were all trying to escape. Then they all went to the apple and then they smell it, then they went to the carrot and they did the same, and finally went with the candy and stay for a long time. Then they start to carry little pieces.

Step 1 - first you get a cartoon box, and make sure that it doesn't have holes because the ants can get out. Step 2 - then you get an apple, carrot, and a candy. Then you a line them so the ants can choose. Step 3 - then you get some  ants from your house or if you don't have you can buy some. Step 4 - then you put the ants on the box. Step 5 - then you just wait till the ants choose what they most like. The first time I did it almost all the ants got out because the box was to small. Then I found one bigger. In my experiment the ants like candy the most, I think that they choose the candy because of the sugar.

My science fair project is one of the easiest project. The materials are a box, ants, candy, vegetable, and a fruit. Step 1- first you get a box. Step 2- then you get from your house ants, and if you don't have, you can buy some. Step 3- you put the fruit, the vegetable, candy, and the ants. Step 4- then wait till the ants choose either the candy, vegetable, or the fruit. Example if the ants choose the fruit, then you fill your data table. Then you prove or disprove your hypothesis, that means that you check if what you thought was right or wrong.

Introduction

In my science class I'm doing a science project called: What Foods do Ants Like the Most? I'm doing this project because I want to know what foods ants like the most, will it be candy, vegetables, or fruit? I think that is very interesting because everyone would like to know more about ant life. I also think that the ants are going to like the candy more because it smells good. The steps are very easy, you just have to get one ant and then put it on a box, then you wait till the ants choose either the candy, fruit, or vegetable.
